Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 40 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. Typical November weather for here. That doesn't mean I like it. It is typical though. It is Thanksgiving here in the US. I will not be going anywhere though. I tripped over Adso last night and landed on my face. My eye is grotesquely swollen and my cheek is already bruised. I look like a freak show. I won't be going anywhere until at least Monday. Good thing I didn't do the potatoes or green beans last night. I don't have any particularly Thanksgiving-y food here except a box of StoveTop stuffing. I thought I had a chicken breast in the freezer. I took it out to defrost and it wound up being pizza dough. Oh well. I still have a lot of pot roast left over. Sooooo I don't have anything to do. I will probably still make a small batch of green bean casserole for myself. I do have the ingredients after all. I've stripped the bed and washed/dried the comforter. The sheets are in the washing machine. I had to spin them again because they were sopping wet. Oooooh and I discovered last night that the oven isn't working. The stove top is fine. The clock is on. It is just the stove. I will have to call maintenance about that. It isn't an emergency so I don't expect them to come today. Tomorrow is fine. Hell even next week is fine if they have tomorrow off. So that is the excitement here. What is everyone else up to today?
