Do you brave the crowds for Black Friday shopping?

My sister, my mother, my second mother, and a family friend wake up at like 3 am and head out to the stores for the Black Friday sales. They go to outlet stores, the mall, and I have no idea wherever else. I am not rich by any stretch of the imagination but I don't need to save money that badly. It just isn't worth it to me. I went to Kohl's many years ago at like 5 of 6 am and the line for the registers literally went around the entire store. No thank you. I do almost all of my shopping online anyway. I just have to buy my mother's birthday present. Her birthday is the day after Christmas and she is so difficult to buy for. Oh well. Only one more thing to deal with. Then I am home free except for the wrapping. I'm not so good at that part.

No, and I never have. Doubt I ever will. While my husband and I have plans to venture out on Saturday, we won't be anywhere near a department store.

There's absolutely no reason to go into a crowded store to buy anything on Black Friday. You can get the exact same deals online. The reason people give me for going into the stores for the Bargains on Black Friday are ridiculous... Mostly I'm told that they need the item right then and can't wait for it to be shipped to them. People are so weird!

I used to go out for the bargains but I’m not doing much shopping this year if at-all

It is not worth it too and even more so now with the pandemic.. I prefer to stay home and get what I want online.

I agree 100% - especially now with COVID concerns.... I wonder what stores look like on Black Friday though - super busy as normal? I feel like you might as well wait for Cyber Monday and get the online deals instead

The few times I have went shopping it was not early in the day. And many times the sakes after the first of December are better deals anyways

When I was younger I used to do most of my shopping in stores (but not on Black Friday). Today all my shopping is done online...what little I have to do. I love wrapping gifts. I miss not having a lot of people to buy for. It's such fun shopping for other people.
