November 28 - What I'm Thankful for Today

This is the day the LORD has made and I WILL be THANKFUL and REJOICE in it.
In case you're not aware, I changed the word glad to thankful. Why? Because I am thankful.
Today, I'm thankful because I could go to church. The weather was perfect, meaning not snowing on the way there or back. So, no bad roads or drivers to deal with. 
I'm also thankful I'm no longer getting lost getting there.
I'm thankful for the service this morning. More a Bible study than your typical service. I love the interaction. I learn so much more this way.
I'm thankful for the fellowship after the service. No one was in a hurry to leave.
I'm thankful for the light lunch I had when I got home. I made my usual turkey and dressing combination with the leftovers. I still have a lot of turkey and dressing, so I have enough to make a couple more meals with it.
I'm thankful for the late game today. It meant I could be here to interact with you before the game starts in a few minutes. Today is the Packers and Rams here at Lambeau. They have a good taste of winter at Lambeau.
Okay, that's my day. Time to tell Alexa to turn off the Christmas music and turn on the TV and get ready for the game.

I am thankful for a good day. So far it seems to have gone decently well. I feel I'm making up for the poor performance I put in this weekend. But, I know that I should not feel bad. Sometimes you just roll with the punches. I'm still learning how to work and adapt to George being home more. (he's at work today, but in general) and it's always an adjustment when you're life is changing.

Yes, it's always an adjustment. You're right. Don't beat yourself up if you can't be here. I've had a month where I wasn't here much.

We can use the word glad, if a stomach ache leaves. But, thankfulness is associated with a powerful attitude, towards all the things that God has blessed us with! I'm thankful for this day, it was a beautiful day in many ways
