A week ago, my friend and I went to the Department of Tourism in Baguio City, Philippines. They were open to tourists and showcased indigenous clothings and wooden crafts. The most favourite one is the wooden scooter. Don't be surprised because local tribes still use it in their respective villages. Do you also have this indigenous wooden craft?

I know that young boys used them when my Dad was very young.

In my city, I haven't seen one on the road or street. If there is, I will surely play with it. Unfortunately, we don't have here except seeing it like in this museum.

@LadyDuck I agree. I am sure it will be troublesome, too. In fact, the way being used is like having a skateboard.

@Shavkat They are no more on the roads in any part of Europe as far as I know, heavy and uncomfortable, compared to the modern ones.

It is drivable only downhill I guess. Interesting craft nonetheless.

Thats very cool I live in the land of native Americans but never seen they made anything like that. Usually just old style weapons or jewelry. They were big on horses so had no reason to make things like that. Very cool I want how much never mind cannot afford it.

I am sure you would like to invent or enhance it by adding up an engine to work as a motorbike.

You are doing this thing of your own accord.

We do have lots of them here in my city. My city is one of the tourist spots in the Philippines. I can share some of them. Image Credit: cf.shopee.ph

I must say that this wooden craft is strong enough to withstand through the years. Thanks for liking it.
