Oh my goodness, is it ever foggy out there! It looks like the English moors or something. It rarely gets this foggy here. I am guessing it won't last, but it is spooky looking. In good news, I got 6 hours of of sleep last night and I feel refreshed and alert. Nico slept in too, which was magnificent. I wonder if the fog had something to do with it? Does it ever get foggy in your area?

Yes, sleeping well if good for your body. My sleep was not interrupted at all last night, didn't need to pee, roomie didn't wake me up walking back and forth to the bathroom or falling out of bed, or any of the things he does. The temp was right. It was the perfect storm that led to good sleep. I am glad you got good sleep too.

@just4him I do that pretty much everyday thinking about the day ahead and when I actually want to pop out of bed. This morning though I felt very rested so I just got up, and got to it.

@snowy22315 That's wonderful. I didn't wake until time to get up and I still lay in bed thinking about it.

I need more then just 6 hours of sleep, last night I got alot more. We get fog here. Its so hard on your eyes when you are straining to see something. Frost fog is just so beautiful, when everything is coated with beautiful frost and as the fog lifts you see that. its rare but we usually get that a couple of times a year. Today its just cloudy here.

We may have had that when I lived up North, but it doesn't happen here. One thing that is very cool though though it to see fog on the lake..That is a pretty common occurence and you can sometimes see clouds of fog just hanging on the lake, or actually watch it move across and lift off and disapate before your eyes

I usually just sleep 5 or 5.5 hours per night which seems to actually be enough for me. I am not tired the next day. I have to say 6 feels alot better though. I don't think I have slept more than 7 hours since I was a kid.

@snowy22315 It has to be me. I always did need alot of sleep, and I take medication which requires me to sleep at least 8 hours a night. And then I have to admit, I am getting old too. I feel totally refreshed this morning. Part of that is from sleeping in, part of that is from having a stress free relaxing day yesterday.

Oooh, would love to see it! Fog is so spooky! That Prolific extension is back up, but when I went to look at the site, I didn't see anything...guess they didn't want me for that study.

It was beautiful and sunny here today, but we get fog time by time, particularly in October and November.

@LadyDuck Although I don't have a good view of the road under the best of circumstances, it was definitely too foggy to see it this AM.

Yes, you have to avoid driving in it if possible. A heavy fog can be dangerous.

We get some fog, but not like this. Everything was grayed out. It looked a bit eerie.

It does get foggy here sometimes, although not often. It did get really foggy here about a month ago. It was so cool. I really enjoyed it.

I don't mind fog at all, as long as I am not driving in it. We were in a thick fog once on the Blue Ridge Pkway, and you could not see to drive at all. It was dangerous. Luckily, we found a place to camp.

We are in a small valley so yes it does but mostly in the spring or fall. I didn't sleep well last night mostly because my husband's started talking in his sleep which eventually woke me up completely and then his snoring began. I was awake three goes last night.

Oh Yikes, I am normally pretty restless at night, but started a new med that helps with sleep..and I guess it does..although it works much better if you limit your daytime caffeine.
