First decent snow fall in Minneapolis, MN

Happy Tuesday all! I’m trying to check in here while putting in some treadmill time jogging. Haven’t been good about exercising these past couple days, but it’s been sort of busy around here!
Yesterday we received our first legit snow fall - only 1.5 inches and the temps hovered just below freezing, enough to make it for miserable communizing conditions. Now, today, temps have dropped more (it was hovering at about 12 degrees F) and a light dusting of snow is falling, just enough to mess up these roads!
Not too terrible though, and temps are supposed to warm up to above freezing next week (highs in the low 40s even!) That is unseasonably warm for December in Minnesota. Makes me worry that it is going to be a LONG winter. Hopefully not though.
Has anyone else been getting precipitation or snow?
If so, drive safe everyone!

We have the possibility of snow showers Tuesday into Wednesday...I hope this isn't a tease. I am serious about my snow...and prefer it 100x over a cold rain.
. Take care out there!

@maezee That is alittle cold for my blood. The wind just makes it nasty. Even though I am from NW PA...The coldest, most unpleasant weather I ever experienced was in Western Indiana..just bitter! I could hardly stand it to get out and put gas in the car

@snowy22315 yuck! Here in MN it can be nasty but usually only below 0 a handful of days in January or February… and those are the days you want to hybernate!

It's summer here and really hot today. I hope it's not a sign of a long, hot summer for us.
