We bought a soda stream

We’ve been out most of the day today. We went to an electrical story, The Good Guys, to get a new water filter for the fridge, only to find they didn’t have one in stock and weren’t very interested in getting one in for us or trying to help in any other way. They suggested we buy one online. This didn’t go down well with Vince who then spoke to the manager about how we had bought the fridge from them with the expectation that they would be able to supply us with the necessary accessories.
Anyway, eventually they agreed to get one in for us whereupon we decided to buy a soda stream machine from them after all. They gave us a discount for our trouble. 
We both drink soda with our wine and having the soda stream will save us money in the long run.

@oahuwriter It works well. We have three bottles that came with the machine and they are all full of soda now.

Good that they made up for their bad customer service by giving you a discount on this purchase. Vince's response is justified one. No one would like to do business with such kind of customer service.

@JudyEv I am more like you. And my husband is like Vince. I do stand up but not always and not for everything. Many a times I just walk away to avoid any further hassles.

You can use them to make fizzy drinks. We just use ours to make soda water.

Let us know how you like the Soda Stream. I hate water and have thought that getting it bubbly might help. Glad that the store is ordering in your filter. That would have miffed me too.
