yes, that's me. I have gone from always loving Christmas, to the biggest Grinch ever. Usually, we go get a huge tree, this year it is 3 feet tall. I have not felt like decorating the house at all. I usually have lights inside and out. I cannot seem to shake the bla's. I do have my Christmas shopping done but it was because I did a marathon order a thon to get them all here. It was not fun, just a business type situation. It doesn't help that some of the activities we usually have are not going on either. The local drive through lights farm is closed, has been since this time last year. No Christmas plays, or concerts. It probably doesn't help we have lost 3 close friends this year and I am really feeling it during the Christmas season. I will actually be glad to have it all behind me. Anybody else having a Bla year?

@mom210 We quit doing Christmas when Pretty graduated from college. I still try to find something for her but she always tells me there isn't anything she wants for Christmas. If there's anything I can do for you, please ler me know. I'll do my best.

@mom210 I'm sorry... You must have me confused with someone else on myLot. After all, my first initial and last name spell DEvil.

Sometimes I find something she's happy to receive. This year I thought I'd found something for her but the merchant had to cancel the order. (When Pretty found out, she laughed at me for trying to get her something. She's an evil daughter.

I'm sorry you're singing the blah's this year. I'm sorry you lost three close friends, that makes it very sad at this time of year. I'm glad you have your shopping finished. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and kick the blahs on Christmas day.

yes but I have been for about 3 now. Always broke and in pain so it's harder to be happy or even content.

@mom210 I hate Christmas. Never did understand it. All that fuss and blow and irritating music, sales assistants wearing antlers. Awful. Now the incarnation is another matter.
