If so, which are the ones you prefer?
Many years ago, I decided to make a lot of different Christmas cookies. I filled a big tin can with them, taking care of placing the most delicate ones at the top.
The children (then my 2 now middle ages daughters) Fought and destroyed all the delicacies to reach the bottom where the chocolate chip cookies were.
From then on, of coiurse, I only make chocolate chip cookies. Or, rather, I made them. Both my daughters have even taught their children to make them.

One year, I baked seventy-two dozen cookies for Christmas and killed my oven in the process.
There are so many different cookies that I enjoy. But you need to keep Russian tea cakes away from me if you want anyone else to have any.

We call them snowballs and they are truly addicting. Why did you have to make so many? I'm exhausted just thinking about it!

@1creekgirl, yes. Some people call them snowballs, and others call them Mexican wedding cookies. My dad was half-Ukrainian. So, they are Russian tea cakes to me.
I baked seventy-two dozen cookies because I gave everyone cookies for Christmas that year. And I baked some for my household as well.

I usually bake snowball cookies, chocolate mint squares (a type of brownie), fudge, and sugared peanuts to put in the freezer at Christmas.

@Babino Part of what I like about them is that they are easy to make.

I don’t make cookies often since I have to make them gluten free. So tend to buy cookies real ready made. The kids do like the oatmeal cookies that I make that are gluten free they tend to go quick with I make them.

I think that I made many of the more delicate ones for my own pleasure. I should have known that they would go to the ones at the bottom.

I had planned on doing a lot of cooking and baking when I retired; but did not plan on the physical problems I have. I love chocolate chip and just about any other kind of cookie. My husband loves chocolate chip and sugar cookies.

I saved for years small amounts of material to make patchwork quilts when I retired. But when I retired, my eyes and fingers were not what they were. So I gave them away.

@marguicha Very sad. I gave away all my crafting materials a few years ago. My fingers would lock up; so I had to quit doing needlework, etc.
