The miracle pill: my back is aching less.

I wrote in another post that my back hurt a lot and that I would take Naproxen. I first tried to escape from pain by laying in my bed but it did not work. After I took Naproxen things changed. I an mot saying that it doesn´t hurt at all but previously it had been an 11 from 1 to 10 Now I can go to bed with no pain for a while and eat my dinner later. I decided not to cook and I got out and thawed the red cabbage with onions and apple dish. I put a bratwurst to cook there and will come back to take it to my bed. I don´t know when I´ll be ready to do more but I´ll keep open the laptop just in case. Last month´s money is in my Pay Pal account and I have reached the minimum (which is not much). Do you have a miracle pill for pains?

@LadyDuck I had back pain ever since I was around 20 years old. But somewhere when I was about 50 years old, the pain was very big and one of me legs could not be straight. Doctors said it was time for surgery.

I take Naproxen when I'm hurting, too. It works all day. I'm glad you're feeling less pain now.

There is lots of pain killers to help with pain. It depends one what ks wrong and your bodies tolerance. For me in general when it came to pain management pills it’s like candy because of my red head genes and I break it down quicker out of my system.

I don´t use Ibuprofen because of that. It does nothing to me.

@marguicha ibuprofen isn’t the only over the counter meds. There is acetaminophen different types of pains means different type of med. ibuprofen is good for inflammation like swelling. Acetaminophen works for more like body aches, headaches and such. Stronger meds give by a doctor they will access your over all type of pain why your pain and if it works with other meds you could be taking.

@yoalldudes When you need a pill, there´s nothing bad about having it. Some years ago, in my country, they did not give morphine to terminal suffering patients, for fear that they would become addicts I thought that that was the nost stupid law ever made.

I only use this kind of pills when I'm on my period. But I've been noticing that if I keep taking the same kind of painkiller time after time it just stops working for me. So every year or two I have to switch.

I had back surgery a couple of decades ago. Once in a while I have a big back pain. I have to take pills until it goes away.

I'm so glad you found a med that helps. If I have pain below my neck, I usually take an NSAID (like Naproxen or Aleve), but if I have pain above my neck, Tylenol seems to help better.
