Roast for Dinner in Crock Pot

Crock pot dinner is almost done. Roast, potatoes and gravy. Made texas toast to go along with it, for the gravy. Will also be good spooned over the toast. Was in the screen room watching the birds earlier. They are enjoying this warm 70 degree day. Very odd for this time of year. Lots of kids out on their new bikes, riding around the neighborhood. I hope they are all happy. Photo is mine.

Your supper sounds delicious. Its a great year for Santa to be leaving bikes for the children in your area. They gave it out on the news that its been 1 year since that terrible explosion in Nashville.

It was very good and filling. Yes, one year today. Such a sad day. Many are still struggling to find new homes and replace their business.

The dinner sounds good. We did not had good sunlight during the day time, and well that is making the night feel colder. But now, we are well prepared. As for the dinner, after a few days of splurging and eating - well not so healthy food, we plan on Porridge with soup or a mix vegetable. Enjoy the warmth!

It is never over half full. The inside part comes out, makes it very easy to clean.

@CarolDM The best roasts I have ever tasted were cooked in a crockpot. I think I will try to find a crockpot turkey recipe now that I am thinking of crockpots!
