Have you heard of this website called Fiverr?
It's pretty awesome. People online willing to work for you, starting at $5 per service.
There's a variety of things people do on there, they'll help you set up a website, proof read a paper, do voice work, etc... though the ones I have used are artistic ones mostly. I will do " X "style art work based on your photo.
I recently used an artist on Fiverr to make a Christmas gift for my mom and I - using our photos the artist turned them in to Victorian era paintings. It was awesome and I was surprised at how much my mom really enjoyed them. I printed the files and put them in picture frames.
I have also gotten "advice", and meditations, card readings done. All have been very satisfactory.
At Fiverr , gigs START at $5. They can be more expensive too, depending on what you want done. Most things are services that can be done online - but sometimes there are gigs where you can get a real, physical, item shipped to you. One of these gigs that I'm looking at is have a cloak made. At $40, it's a good deal. Other things are like "I will send you some random items for $x" ha ha. Funny.
**I receive no compensation for this review, and do not offer anything personally, on Fiverr

Yes, I discovered Fiverr several years ago. But I never signed up to provide my service (which is why I initially looked into it) or seek the services of others.

@FayeHazel, I write, proofread, and edit. But I am legally blind now and can't do any of that life I used to.

@Chellezhere Wow, all good skills. Ah alas for the vision. Do you have a special large computer screen I hope?

I have heard of Fiverr but as a place to work online to earn money, not to pay people to do things for me. I can't figure out what service I could do for $5. I thought everything had to be for $5.00. Good to know you can charge more.

Oh yeah , $5 is just the starting point. When I've purchased gigs Fiverr takes a service charge on top of that, so I think the artist actually gets the $5
