Restful Night Makes for a Good Day

Brendel had a good night. Which means I did as well. She is sleeping beside me, after her morning meds. I have the heating pad on low under her blanket. Her little friends are with her. The Dude is in another chair sleeping. Overcast and windy today. Rain is expected soon today and tomorrow. Hoping for another quiet and peaceful day. Errands coming up on Thursday. There are cameras I can see from my phone to check on the kitties when I am gone. Photo is mine.

She is on a short term steroid treatment now, four more days to go. It helps the inflammation and her breathing.

@kobesbuddy Yes the inflammation is what they are trying to help but it will never be cured. She is breathing easier.

She looks relaxed in this photo, I am glad. Gevi scared me this morning, I think he ate something that got trapped in his throat. He was breathing heavily and coughing. I tapped him gently for a while on his back and after a few minutes he calmed down and breathed regularly.

That was a scare I know. Glad Gevi is ok now. Brendel sleeps most all of the time now.

@CarolDM It looks like Brendel is sleeping peacefully and that her stuffed animal is right by her side. I am glad that you both had a good night. I am glad she could sleep and took her meds. It rained here today. I heard it. I hope you will be able to do your errands on Thursday. I am glad you have a way to check on the cats when ypu are not home with them.

Thanks, doing ok, resting better. She is ok, about the same. No cough while on steroid. 2 more days (every other day now) of meds and then we will see how she does

Sure makes for a better day. She sleeps almost 24 hours a day now. UP a few minutes to eat drink and to the litter box. And that is it.

Sweet precious Brendel.

I'm glad you have cameras where you can check on her and the Dude when you are gone. I cleaned the church today as it was overcast. Rain late tonight and through the rest of the week. I can stay in until Friday when I will have to go to the grocery store.
