Dinner Is Almost Ready!

And that is a good thing because the hubby is hungry!!
I pan fried a couple of pork chops and then put them in a nice gravy that was well seasoned. I threw in a banana pepper from the garden and a wee bit of celery. I added some fresh carrots and put the pork chops in to get them really nice and tender. I fixed some green beans on the side since the hubby doesn't care for carrots and cooked some rice. Photo below is similar but not of our dinner.

last night we wandered over to Applebees (long story) and started off the New Year without the kids!

@DocAndersen Most of the time they have good food. We have only visited one or two and been disappointed. One thing I have noticed is that not all do their mac and cheese the same. Some have it runny. I don't like it that way and always ask before ordering. Rich, thick and creamy for me!!

@LindaOHio I miss the old Godfather's Pizza. It was SO good. We did find one up in Branson, MO but it wasn't close to what the old chain produced.

Sounds delicious! Leftover stewed vegetables in soy sauce, rice. Going to freeze whatever is left.

@CarolDM It was a good game. Sorry AL lost. I was pulling for them! My hub was confused and asked me why I was for AL. I told him that GA has the most obnoxious fans I have ever seen. We have been around them all during all the years my daughter was in gymnastics at LSU helping with all the meets and attending them. I was a little worried about Sabin. He looked rough.

@kareng I dont think they are. I have been picking the noodles up at Walmart. They are in the vegetable aisle. Stuff them with what you want. I have been using sausage as I have plenty. But thinking of trying chicken soon. One time I mixed in leftover rice to the sausage. Another time I chopped veggies and mixed into it. I have been using the wok to fry them in. But a skillet would work also. Just use a small one and enough oil to about half cover them.
