January 3 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's been a good day today, even if Alexa did wake me up without asking. I'm surprised I don't need a nap. We'll see how the rest of the day goes.
I'm thankful for today. I got up earlier than I planned with going to bed near midnight last night after Sunday Night Football and our win over the Vikings. I haven't really done more than relax today. I did go to the store earlier to get the makings for sloppy joes and stew for later this week. I'll also turn the sloppy joes into chili in the next day or so. It turned out very well.
I've been eating almost non-stop since I got up. I hate when I wake up hungry. It means an eating day. Hopefully, tomorrow will be back to normal. I'm very happy I'm no longer hungry. I have stuck to healthy food, so that's a good thing. Lots of fruit. A banana, several cutie oranges, and sloppy joes. I also have a glass of orange juice poured I keep forgetting about. Time to drink it.
I'm finished with the notifications and time to get off the computer. I need to exercise besides the walking I did at the store this morning. Tomorrow, I will be back in the pool and fitness center. I miss it when I'm not there.
Very cold here today. We did get to 20 F. The feels like is much colder. How is your weather?

I was thankful to receive the notice today that my new writing assignments will be arriving tomorrow now I just have to hope I will be able to do as the instructions say I hope you have a good night

I am thankful that the winter freeze warning in my area only brought a little bit of snow early in the morning around dawn and the high wind advisory did not cause any severe damage to the plants or kayo any electrical power.

That football game last night was awesome, Aaron is really doing a beautiful job! Go, Green Bay Packers:) And we are doing our best to eat healthier, so far so good:) Our weather this morning was 10 degrees, BRRRR! Right now it's 25, which isn't a big improvement. Yet, the sun is shining beautiful! No warmups in sight, for a couple days. I'm thankful for another winter day, a home as peaceful as can be

We were supposed to get highs in the 70's but it never got past the low to mid 60's today. We had some wind, but nothing too bad. I'm in a cami and shorts. I have yet to need long pants.

@just4him I got my Pfizer booster, and although it’s left me with a slightly stiff shoulder am grateful to get it. Grateful too for a well-stocked fridge, a car that runs well and temps of around 40 - don’t like it getting much higher than that.

Yesterday we had wind and rain. I did some some lightening while I watched a tv show. It stopped by the afternoon. It was cold and today is cold. I'm thankful that I got some more of my diamond painting done. I am also thankful that I got the points I was waiting on on the website MyPoints.
