love and affection

It is both affection which you have to put into action to prove it

I would think myself that love is not an action, but an energy, and that energy can motivate you to love when your heart is animated by the energy, but if you just think of loving, by acting to love with your mind alone, this will always fall short of real and total love, and yet some aspects of love will still be there, such as respect, and honour, and caringness for the other person too. Love is more than all of this though, it is a God-given energy of connection, to someone who connects to the energy too.
