Davante Williams who is employed by Uber from Washington D. C. is being praised as a savior to a teenager who was supposed to take a train ride home to be with her parents but due to the harsh winter storm conditions that caused the train to have a derailment accident, she had to take a ride with Davante earlier this week to get home. Davante did his best to calm down the teenager whose name was not mentioned that he would everything in his power to get her home despite being trapped on Interstate 95 during a winter storm that caused a traffic jam nightmare. Since Davante could not take the teenager home that same day, he called her parents to inform them that they would stay overnight at a hotel in Virginia overnight. The good news is that the teenager was reunited with her parents the next day at the hotel where she and Davante spent the night after being told by Davante which hotel they were staying at. When the story of what happened with Davante taking care of the teen became viral, Davante received an offer from Ride Alto to be their lead driver. Times of darkness does bring out some real life saviors who come to the rescue of persons in need.

@CarolDM It is nice to know that Davante did everything he could to make the teenager feel safe getting home to her relatives since she was scared due to her train ride being postponed and the bad weather.

You are right since there are many horror stories of teens being kidnapped by strangers who are drivers of taxis these days.
