Olivia Venters, 15, who lives in Vanceboro North Carolina is a very lucky young teen who was found safe and sound by the Craven County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) deputies on Monday.
Olivia was reported missing on Sunday by her relatives when her boyfriend Tripp Wayne who is also 15 years of age was in the company of his mother Rebecca Lynn Caton, 35 on the overnight hours around 3am on Sunday.
The trio was seen in Virginia on Sunday according to the police report even though the case is still being investigated by the authorities at this time.
Rebecca is in deep trouble with the authorities since she is being sought by the police on kidnapping charges.
I just wonder why would a young lady of 15 years of age would venture to be with a young male of the same age outside of her parents home around 3am on Sunday?
I am just glad that Olivia did not wind up perishing at the hands of a kidnapper this time.
Maybe this incident will be a wake up call to be more careful dealing with her friends.
The good news is that Olivia's parents are going to pick her up at the Craven County Sheriff's Office and bring her home safe and sound.

so basically she ran away and her boyfriend and his mom helped her leave. They should find out what caused her to run away. Either she's a brat and deserves punishment or she is being abused in some way and not lucky enough to totally get away.

That is true since a lot of us have this belief that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.

@Courtlynn My error since kids today are different from my time when my late parents watched me like a hawk to stay out of trouble.

You are right since many television crime shows report the tragic events of kidnappings on their shows which is heartbreaking.

I agree with you that Olivia did avoid being another victim of being rubbed out by someone she knew personally.

I'm glad Olivia is back home safe and sound. She probably sneaked out of the house to meet her boyfriend.

You are right since these days think according to a former state highway patrol officer from Mississippi that "Kids think that they will live forever."

Once the police find Rebecca and her son, more details will come from the case.

It is an odd story why the mom of Tripp took Olivia with her to Virginia.

It is a lot better than reading the bad news that Olivia would have passed away during the time she was not at home with her relatives.
