Our countertops got installed yesterday. All that's left is the back splashes which might get done next week if all goes well.

Finally we got our countertops and we can begin cooking regular meals again. Tonight we're having chicken with sweet and spicy bbq sauce over rice. I'm going the BBQ sauce isn't too spicy for hubs.
After the back splashes are out in I'll take some final pics and maybe include some that were missed that I've posted previously after the previous cabinets were removed back in July/August.
Any changes in your life?

@RubyHawk so do I. It's been a long journey but like having a baby the time waiting is all but forgotten when the product finally arrives. Not that I ever considered either of my two daughters a product before.

It was a sweet and spicy type. It was spicy but the rice ruined it down some.

Definitely thrilled. We got ones with both browns and black along with the white since all those colors are in the room. Then I plan on using colored utensils and towels to bring in splashes of color.

@JudyEv I'll have black serving and stirring spoons but those will stay in drawers. Only items is color will be in the countertop; or at least that's my plan

A reduction in work doesn't sound good unless it's needed and was planned for. It's the reduction related to his work possibly being seasonal?
