Netflix is raising their prices

Apparently there are 3 different plans (basic, standard, and premium) and they are increasing prices between $1 and $2 per month. I'm still on my ex's Netflix account and I don't know which plan he has. He doesn't seem to use it often but I still don't think that a dollar or two dollar increase would make him cancel it. I could be wrong but I just don't see it. If he does then I wouldn't sign up for an account myself. I'd just parasite off of my sister or someone else. I already pay for Amazon Prime and STARZ through Amazon. Oh well I guess we'll see.

I haven't paid for any cable or video service since 1988. I purchase shows and movies that intetest me and I usually wait until they are discounted. I get a couple of dozen stations over the air with an outdoor digital antenna. Both of my kids use Netflix and seem to enjoy having it. I seriously doubt another few dollars a month will bother them. I just don't see the need to pay a monthly fee to watch programs.

I have Netflix free from a friend. But I think that if I watch a couple of films every month it is worth it. I loved the cinema but we had to buy the ticket, the pop corn and the gas to go there.

We used to have Netflix but cancelled it around two years ago. We use Amazon Prime and YouTube TV now.

And you see, that’s why I bought a movie (the “physical” DVD). The price of that sucker isn’t going up on my bookshelf!

Netflix is getting to be expensive. I'll stick with my Hulu and Discovery+. Discovery+ is the best bargain I have seen of the streaming services.

I am very interested in Discovery + I keep hoping someone I know will get it and add it to me. Sure I can afford it but I'm such a parasite.
