A lucky dog rescue story from Seattle

Didi Fitts who is the owner of a Black Labrador Retriever named Sammy is grateful that the Seattle Fire Department were able to rescue her dog after a landslide caused the home to partially collapse having Sammy trapped for a period of six days. Didi managed to crawl out of the partially collapsed home. Her husband James needed to be rescued by the firefighters after he was trapped inside of the home. Sammy is currently in stable condition after the firefighters were able to rescue both James and Sammy. The sad part of this story is that the other dog who lived in the partially collapsed home which was caused by a landslide passed away. The home was not occupied since January 7. As the old saying goes "You cannot win them all."
