The word of the day is S**W!! Most of you know that is a bad four-letter word to me! lol We have received about 12"+ so far; and it's still coming down. It's blustery; and there is a lot of drifting. This afternoon we are expecting lake-effect s**w which will add to that total. Yesterday hubby picked up Chinese and pizza so that we'd have lots of goodies to eat if we got s**wed in. It was all delicious; and we definitely won't be going anywhere today. We will need to get the driveway plowed and the walk shoveled out. The Meals on Wheels people will need to get to the door tomorrow. What's the weather like in your part of the world? If you got snow, how much did you get? Hopefully if you are in an area that received those terrible thunderstorms, you are safe and sound. Photo Credit:

We barely got anything yesterday and then it started to pour and got very windy. It was the worst at night.

That is a bad four letter word. I do not like it! But the snowflake on the picture is very pretty.

Where do you live that! That’s a ton of snow!!! Be safe… I am in MN and we have been pretty lucky to have only had a few snow storms… one of like 8 inches, the other of 5. I am fine with that but concerned it’s going to mean a very snowy spring

Ick! We got a dusting. I haven’t checked any local weather to see what the “official” total was, but the technical term from this weather spotter is “not much.” Sorry you got the S stuff. But this is once where it’s better to be where you are: they had tornadoes in Florida yesterday.

@LindaOHio Yes, our seasons are the same as the seasons in the United States, northern hemisphere. The coldest month is usually February.

You know getting up with 46 degrees in Florida and no central heating I was miserable all day and it only got into the 60s With weather like this I would rather look outside and see snow and have a warm comfortable apartment instead of a cold one,

I think if we ever moved to Florida, we would get central heating installed. Sorry you are cold.

I am secretly wishing you more and more. I love snow, especially if I don't have to live with it for three or four months. That said, if I were your next door neighbor, I'd come over and shovel for you. Nothing's free in this world, though. I'd demand Chinese food and hot cocoa.

I would gladly feed you if you came over and shoveled! Fortunately our neighbor, his son and his son's buddies got us plowed out and shoveled for a reasonable $ amount.

It's a snow day here too. We've already gotten quite a bit and we're supposed to get some more. The worst part is how cold it is outside. At least for me.
