One more day off

It is interesting to me that we are always off for Martin Luther King Day, but we never say that is why.
We call it an inservice day or Teacher Work Day.
So, I am off work today.
I will go for fasting lab here in just a few minutes. Then I will have breakfast with Jane at a Wendy's. At 11:00 I get my new crown on my tooth.
Bob and I may go to McPherson this afternoon to pick up a library book and see my sister. Meanwhile, I am putting my shoes on to get out the door.
I will enjoy this day off.

Back in school today, twelve children had tested positive by 9 a.m. Others possibly went home due to people in the home being positive. I am pretty sure they sent at least four more home in the afternoon.

@much2say As a result of staff illnesses and shortages in the district we got January 20, 21 and 24 off. I hope people start feeling better soon.
