I have been busy tonight reading your posts and buzzing along with my notifications. It seems like I have quite a few after getting back on the site last night and putting in a couple of hours!
Today was a blah day. We didn't have much sunshine and it didn't get warm outside. The high today was in the low 50's. Tomorrow it will ease up to the 60's and on Wednesday into the 70's! After that we freeze again with several nights in a row in the low 20's.
I just realized I was hungry and looked at the time. It's 12:30 so I am going to get a naval orange and then maybe read a few more notifications and then read for awhile. I will be starting a new book tonight.
How was the weather in your area today? Nice and warm or cold? I know some of you are snowed in!

@wolfgirl569 It is something with the main heater out and no insulation in this old house!! Camping out in the bedroom with the window unit with heat strip for the weekend.

This type of oranges are always very sweet. I like them too.
I was also doing the same this evening. Responding to notifications and reading posts

It's coming my way on Thursday. We have a high of 42 dipping into low 20's. Not going to be fun. This lasts thru Sunday night. Then 2 nights in 30's and back to 20's again for multiple nights. Electric bill is going to be sky high. I just hope and pray we don't get any busted water lines.

We got clear up to 43F today so most of the snow melted off. (My car is still covered, so I hope we won't need to go anywhere tomorrow.)
I can't believe that last Thursday Pretty and I were in our back yard gathering branches knocked down in the last storm and I was wearing jean shorts, a tank top and sandals, then two days later our high was 24F and we had 8 inches of snow/ice mix on the ground.

I know. We get those drops fairly often during the winter months. Today was in the 70's and partly cloudy. The rain started around 9 pm here and will be moving out before they estimated earlier in the week. They are calling for freezing temperatures to hit around 6 pm.

We had about two feet of s**w. Fortunately our neighbor was able to get us plowed and shoveled out for a reasonable fee. Good to see you here.
