Just read the most amazing story of the day. Disney World in Orlando, Florida take apart the gingerbread houses they make and have on display. And guess what they do with the sweets?
They feed them to honey bees on their tree farm. How cool is that! This has been going on for over a decade. First time I have read about it.
I know the bees enjoy this nice treat. So happy to read the bees are being fed in Florida. Maybe the idea will spread to other places.
I had a ton of bees in my garden last year. I also have been reading about a decline in honey bees in the last few years. This feeding idea is excellent news to read.

Thank you for sharing the link. We also have bees at our rural home but they are very dangerous. We never come close to their habitat

There are a lot of good ideas out there for helping all the pollinators, especially the bees. I have heard of tacking pieces of fruit in trees and also have read you should make little islands in your birdbath out of stones so bees do not drown but can rest safely and drink.
