What do Lions, Tigers and Bears have in common with kitties , puppies and aliens? Well in this case, the fact that they are all neon rainbow colored. Perhaps @xander6464 would like some, for his "neon fun jungle". My friends I'm referring to the "Lisa Frank" brand. Do you remember? In the 90s you only had to throw a rock and you would likely hit a Lisa Frank product. Vibrantly rainbow colored cute characters. I had stickers, and the sticker collecting album, a trapper keeper, a diary, note pads, writing papers, pencils, pens, and a lunch bag. I remember liking the kissing fish, the aliens, the guitar playing girl simply titled "Rockstar", the dolphins, the orca, the horse and the unicorn. I remember the unicorn is "Markie", and I think the aliens are "Roxie and Rollie". I don't remember the names for the rest, other than the fact that most characters came with names. I started seeing more and more new and vintage Lisa Frank items online, so I looked in to it a little bit, well it turns out that the 90s Lisa Frank stuff is worth some $$$. I had a deck of playing cards as a kid - they were Lisa Frank and had some of the characters on the face cards. Mine is well played with and worn, but I saw a like new pack online for $65. You gotta be kidding me. It's just an odd feeling to see the stuff you had as a kid being worth $. I guess that is what happens when you're about to turn 40. lol Photo: Mine - one of my folders, the character's name is "Genie"

I loved Lisa Frank stuff growing up, and am enjoying it again now lol. I don't remember the character in the photo though. I have done a lot of diamond paintings (or at least have a lot to do) that are Lisa Frank's art. But oh yes, her stuff can go for a high price for sure!

It's funny, I thought of this as one of my "newer" Lisa Frank pieces, then I looked at the date on it, printed in 2001. Wow. 20+ years old. Make me feel old already. I had no idea it was collectible. I bet those Lisa Frank diamond arts are cool to put together with all the bright colors

@MommyOfEli2013 Yeah, seems like her , the "rockstar" girl, the broadway girl, "Lisa", and several other "people" seemed to be newer. Never seemed as popular as the animal characters though.

@FayeHazel I would have thought so too since I don't remember it from when I was growing up. But definitely a collectible now! Oh yeah they are all so bright, for sure. The last one I shared that I got of the horse is a Lisa Frank design...it's so bright - can't wait to do that one lol

In some of the boxes in my closet I've got decks of unopened playing cards. And yes, at least one of them is a Lisa Frank pack of cards. Nice to know they're worth money now. (I bought a new deck of cards every time we went shopping back then and just packed them all away. I've got decks from all around the world, too. Some brought to me when friends went on vacation and some I ordered online.)

@FayeHazel It's true... I have at least five shoe boxes in the top of my closet packed full of playing cards. (One wooden case with two decks of cards and hand carved die were brought to me from India by a friend's mom. Her and her husband were Missionaries there when I was in my twenties. She told me she paid 25 cents for the case and contents back then with me in mind.) No, I stopped when I was in my thirties. I was getting divorced and just didn't have the money to waste on something like that.

@DaddyEvil The cards and dice from India sound really nice. Ah, I see, if you were still collecting I'd offer to send you a "Minnesota" deck

It must be bringing all the nostalgic feelings. I bet those bright coloured characters would be so cute. I am also in 40s but I am not aware of this brand. Back then world was not a small Global village. Thanks to technology, now brands get popular across the globe

Oh yes, I had almost forgotten about some of them. The painter panda, the dalmations, lion cub and tiger cub... so many fun memories and pretty bright colors. I'm so thankful we can now shop a global market
