Premonitions Before Her Death

I am not trying to persuade anyone to believe in me. I just want to share some signs before the passing of my mom, which is unusual for her to do. By the way, it is her 17th day in heaven now. First, she asked somebody to carry and open all boxes in the storage area. Second, she planned some things and was always in a hurry. Third, she randomly dreamed of dead loved ones before her death. Fourth, she did not want to end the call with my younger sister. Fifth, she sorted out her belongings. Are you gifted to interpret premonitions on someone or something? It is somewhat similar to my mom. Since she was always ill before she passed away, she would usually tell me that she saw herself watching TV where the show was flashbacks of her past. Since it happened before Typhoon Yolanda she was getting delirious that there is something bad happening and many will perish. She would always warn my father to go to this office and report the incident.

@Shavkat I guess different persons experience differently. We just recall them because of the peculiarity of their actions. When my mom said there will be many that will perish, I did not take it seriously and thought she was just having bad dreams. But Typhoon Yolanda arrive I just realize this was her premonition of what is to happen.

@Shavkat Sometimes those abilities are more pronounced when you are under-stressed or traumatized. I think in my mom's case it was because she was in pain that this vision she saw was something that was triggered because of her condition. Or it may simply be a coincidence that she was able to foresee that.

@rsa101 I am not sure but a stranger told me that it needs to open my third eye. I just do not want to. It will open at the right time.

It's highly likely she knew her time was coming to an end

@Shavkat Never ever brush off the premonition feeling. I have learned that over my lifetime

@Shavkat Don't because it shows you are in tune with the situation

I have known many people to do that even before they die unexpectedly. Something tells them to prepare.

If one is sensitive enough he/she can have these premonitions.

I remember one of my lola then who told me sorry that she can't left anything for me and that's it. She commuted to Marikina from Pangasinan and not long she left us...

My brother in law's father passed away about 3 years ago. Apparently a couple days before his passing, he saw in a dream that he would not live to see the new year . . . indeed he crossed over on New Year's Eve.

First, condolences on the passing of your mother. Second, yes. Many people especially the elderly or those with long term illness often know when their time is near. A natural result of that is to tie up loose ends.

I wish I was gifted but I am not. Sounds like your Mom was. Hold onto the memories.

I think probably many people know when the end is near and behave accordingly. Very sorry about your mom.
