January 24 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I'm thankful to be alive today. I woke to a beautiful snowy morning. It's cold out there and getting colder with the Arctic blast hitting us for the next several days again. One of these days I need to do laundry. Hopefully, before I totally run out of clothes.
I'm thankful for going down to the community room and working on the stationary bike for 18 minutes. I put in 4 miles in that time.
I'm thankful the notifications are finished. It was great interacting with you.
Okay, that's my day. Time to work on Love's Illusions and see if the turkey is thawed. I want to make turkey meatloaf today. I might have gotten it out of the freezer too late. If so, I'll make it tomorrow and figure out something else for today.

I am thankful for sunshine and a plesent day in general. I'm thankful for my cats, and how cute they are. I'm thankful I didn't totally miss this post. It's one of the few I look forward to.

I am thankful that today it rained which kept the cold weather away today until the cold winds come later tonight.

I am thankful for waking up to a new day healthy and strong. In our country we have this popular local qoute "every gising is a blessing" which means "waking up alive daily is a blessing". Millions are affected by this pandemic everyday and staying alive and healthy is something to be really gratefull.

I watched the weather and saw the next arctic blast heading down your way. It will affect us by the end of the week. Today and tomorrow will be our warmest days of the week in the low 50's.
I hope you get your laundry done too before you run out of clothes.

I think today is the coldest we've had in a very long time. We've had -13 before, but as a wind chill. That's what I woke up to this morning for regular air temp. The wind chill was -25. We've come up a little at 2 with -16 wind chill. We might have a heatwave by the end of the day. It's supposed to get up to 10.
I got the laundry done yesterday.
I'm glad Mike cooked. Have a blessed day too.

I've made turkey meatloaf, it's wonderful! Especially with a baked potato, one of my favorites. I'm grateful, we never go hungry or wonder how we will stay warm, during the winter. I have a nice home, with cabinets filled with food.

Oh my, that doesn't sound too fun - the cold I mean. But that's good you got some snow.

@just4him That cold is awful...we are having some of that cold too...maybe not quite as bad.
Hope you can get your snow, and keep it there...we've had enough here lol
