January 25 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I haven't been home most of the day. As cold as it is outside, I had no choice but to venture out.
I'm thankful my hospital appointment went well, even with them needing to poke me three times to get the IV started for my medication.
I'm thankful I have my laundry done after a week and a half. It's been so cold, I waited as long as possible to do it. Since I needed to be out of the apartment anyway, I did my laundry too. All I need to do is finish folding it and put it away.
I'm thankful for a good night's sleep despite the amount of pain I've been in since yesterday with two bruised ribs.
Okay, that's my day. I know I wasn't here today. However, I'll be back tomorrow and get the notifications finished. I'm having trouble sitting in the chair. I can't get comfortable with my bruised ribs. I did that by tying my shoes yesterday. Yeah, it sounds impossible, but leaning over to tie my shoes ended up being very painful.

Thank you. Hopefully, they'll heal fast. I know it's six weeks with broken ribs. I don't know about bruised ones.

I pray your ribs aren't broken, it was terrible you fell. Our laundry is all caught up, I'm thankful for this:) My favorite pants were in the dirty clothes basket! Today was quite cold here and we got a light snow. I'm thankful that I didn't have to go anywhere. I'm glad that Jay's guitar arrived three days early, it's beautiful!

Thank you. No, they're not broken. I didn't fall. I leaned over to tie my shoes and the ribs got it in the wrong position and voila, bruised ribs.
I'm glad Jay's guitar arrived early.
Cold here too. -13 this morning. No, it's not the wind chill.

@divalounger I have soft ribs from having them broken so often. It doesn't take much to get them bruised or broken.

I'm happy to hear you manajed to get your hospital appoitment done and the meds you needed. Brused anything can be a real pain in the butt.
I'm thankful my husband and I wwent out today, even though he kind of almost didn't. I'm glad he talked himself into it, and at the end of the day I know he is, too. He usually is when he does.

Heh. I am thankful that I have a decent job at Guitar Center. I'm thankful that I take another January shower today. I'm thankful that Kitty has been sleeping with me every night recently. I'm thankful that there's heater in my house.
