Another celebration, February 1, Chinese New Years! Special foods with special meaning for Chinese New Year, I'm learning about. Got some foods already.
Shrimp- happiness & good fortune.
Dumplings - prosperity of body & mind and longevity. Say while eating, bringing in wealth and treasure. Always arrange in a line.
Spring rolls - brings ton of gold. Say while eating, a ton of gold.

I'm going to have just a few pieces of each. I bought my apple for peace and harmony and orange for happiness - gift of gold - happiness, and pear for good luck, today. Noodles, the chow mei is for longevity & good health. Adding white stem cabbage to my noodles.@oahuwriter (26773)
