Meatloaf Cooking For Dinner

Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and biscuits for dinner. I added some bacon to the meatloaf this time for a change. This dinner always has leftovers. And it will be good tomorrow. Sometimes meatloaf sandwiches are made the next day. Smells good already as it cooks in the oven. Not my photo, mine is in the oven.

Instead of using ketchup; my mom would sometimes use barbeque sauce. It is different, but I like it that way too. Have you ever tried it that way.

I only use a small amount of ketchup mixed with brown sugar for the topping. I know others that use bbq sauce. A good taste as well.

I love meatloaf. I was looking at FB memories and it showed that we made smoked meatloaf a few ears ago on this day. Sooooo delicious.

Yum! Hubs makes meatloaf all the time because it's easy; and he can eat meatloaf sandwiches all week. Every time he makes one he asks me, "How do you make meatloaf again?" Sigh.

Oh my! I had forgotten all about meatloaf! I'll have to fix this now in the next few days. Hubby loves it and it is easy to fix. Win-win!!

Ohh the guys in my house would probably love bacon added to the meatloaf. I’m making meatloaf on Monday. My husband likes to make a sandwich for lunch the following day if there are leftovers. Usually there is not.
