Grilled Meatloaf Sandwich Dinner

Leftover meatloaf for dinner. Decided to go with a grilled sandwich. Added a little more bacon and mozzarella cheese. Mozzarella was all the cheese I had in the frig. Any cheese would be good with meatloaf. Had sliced french bread as well. Check. Fried it just like you would a grilled cheese. Browned the buttered french bread on both sides, melted the cheese, and it was done. Yum, such comfort food. Enjoying an early dinner of leftovers. I hope your evening is good everyone.

That looks delicous Carol. My boyfriend and does not like wasting food so we do invent a lot of food from left overs as well.

@CarolDM I've never made a grilled meatliaf sandwich . Normally I just put it between 2 slices of bread with a little ketchup but I like your idea of grilling and adding cheese

When I first moved in, over 10 years ago, roommate #1 made a meatloaf. The first meatloaf I had ever eaten. Tasted really good. She has never prepared meatloaf again. I have asked her but she just does not pay attention.
