Had a Delicious Lunch Today

My husband and I have been trying to visit Helen, GA since early December but we never made it.
We finally took a drive up there today. It was a cold but very sunny day and we went to a restaurant called "Cowboys and Angels" because we like the food and we can bring our dog on an enclosed side deck.
I had Fettucine alfredo with chicken that was served with a side salad, and my husband had a bratwurst sandwich served with chili and onions, and a cup of mushroom and beef soup.
Then for dessert, we shared a piece of the best bread pudding I have ever tasted. It arrived warm with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream on it that was drizzled with caramel sauce. It was a perfect lunch for a perfect day.
Even the dog enjoyed her day!

It was 60F here today. Pretty forced me to get up before I was ready to wake up this afternoon to take her shopping... She finally found the coat she's been looking for.
Then my blood pressure dropped and we came home.
It's storming here tonight and the temp is dropping fast. We're getting sleet mixed with snow tonight through Wednesday night or Thursday. Predicted accumulation is between 6 to 10 inches. I hope the forecast is wrong.

@Kouponkaren No, it's still 90/60 which is extremely low for me. I skipped taking my nighttime bp meds, hoping it would come back up. My doctor wants it around 100/70. It's never been this low before. Normally, without meds my bp runs around 180/120. Pretty and I are both worried about it.

@DaddyEvil Wow, that storm is going to last through Wednesday or Thursday? That's a long storm. I miss snow. Send some my way, please. And I am glad she found the coat she has been looking for. Is your blood pressure okay now?

@JudyEv Oh it truly was. Everything was delicious. And it was good for my husband and me to get out together. I think we were getting into a rut so it was nice to have a little adventure together.

@Marty1 Can you just eat half a sandwich and eat the other half for dinner? My husband does that all the time when we go out to lunch.

@JimBo452020 Oh the diet was over weeks ago! Just trying to keep my carbs and sugar low now...except when we go out to eat of course, LOL! Cause ya gotta have SOME fun!
