I actually went to work today, for the first time all week. It made me very tired, but it was fun. Let me tell you how tired I was, with a little story: In all the time Bob and I have been married, he has insisted I should cut his hair.. I am not good at it, but it works okay. Bob has had a beard for a year or so. He quit shaving when he was on blood thiners and while he has had all the health issues, he has been too tired to do more than just trim his beard. A new barber opened in Hillsboro, a former Marine. I had heard lots of good things about him.I suggested Bob should try him. Well I was so tired when I got home I barely noticed. Bob's hair looked good. He said he was tired and went for nap. I did not notice until we sat down to eat. Bob had gotten a shave and a hair cut. They look REALLY nice. And I told him so. That is how tired I was. So now I am going to bed.

Yes, and in my defense. I noticed his hair looked good, then he went for a nap. I noticed the beard was missing as soon as we sat down to eat.

@GardenGerty I have to say that my hubby trimmed his beard while I was at the boutique the other day and I didn't even notice!! Too funny! In my defense, I came home very tired!

For sure, a former Marine should know a thing or two about a shave and a haircut. My wife has been cutting my hair since the pandemic began. She's gotten so good at it, I probably won't go back to a barber.

@GardenGerty Now that you mention it, if the missus decided to treat me to a nice shave and a haircut, with the warm towel and other niceties, I would definitely be in for that.
