Dear Cortana

I love Microsoft. (I have never had an Apple product though so maybe I am missing out. I don't know) My new HP computer that I have had for nearly three years has Cortana on it. (The voice that answers questions and so forth.)
She doesn't know much.
It's so funny cause I will be working on the laptop and watching the television and suddenly Cortana will pop up and say something like: "I don't know the answer to that."
And I didn't even ask her anything. I have used her a few times and sometimes she gives me some info but most of the time she doesn't know. Poor pathetic instrument.

I remember years ago, just to see what it said, I said a cuss word over and over. Her replie was "it's not nice to say those words" All of us got a good laugh out of that. lol

How funny. And the device picked up on it. Great!

@celticeagle Oh yea, that's picks up about anything, except for when you really want it to look something up. Then it seems like it can't understand a word your saying! lol

@celticeagle That's like my son, he has always called his sister hooker just for the meanest of it. So he has her number on his plone as hooker, so he'll say "call hooker" it repeats what he said, but sometimes he has to say it two or three times before it understanding what he's saying. Each time he says it, he gets louder. I hate to see it when his kids get grown and understand what a hooker is, they'll be saying "I remember hearing my dad call a hooker" lol

Poor Cortana. I don't use the computer voice with my laptop.

It's being phased out for Amazon. My HP and my Dell both have Amazon built-in in some form. I had to disable it, because it kept talking when I didn't want it to. I use a screen reader, and like Cortna, it's sensitive.
