Chickpeas have a nice translation name here

Chickpeas are very normal peas here, but I bought some lately since I have never tasted them before. I am curious to its taste. Then I look for a recipe about chickpeas. I found something funny. Here actually we call chickpeas as "eaglepeas" This is a very funny difference

This is a funny name, we call them ceci in Italian, that means nothing at all. In French is the same as in Enlgish chick peas (pois chiches)

chickpeas are our favourite and my children love them so much. They are packed with protein and good for health. I like the new name 'eaglepeas'

That certainly is a different name for them. I only know them as chickpeas although we never have them.
