February 14 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Happy Valentine's Day everyone. It's a fantastic getting up day. I worried I wouldn't have the Bible study and prayer time done before I left, but no worries. I got everything done.
I'm so thankful for a good night's sleep. I went to bed on time at 8:09 PM and was up at nearly 2 AM.
I'm thankful for getting back to the YWCA this morning for a great workout in the pool. I also got my exercises done for my lymphedema in the hot tub. Then I went upstairs to the fitness center for another great workout on the leg press, elliptical, and stationary bike. Then I rushed home so I could join the exercise class here in the community room. Say it with me - You overdid it! Say it again! Yes, I probably did. My back is very sore right now at the hips.
I'm thankful for the nap I got. I'm not sure, but I think it was two hours. I took Ibuprofen before taking my nap. I'm still hurting. I think I will for a while. I'm still going to the Y tomorrow. That's the plan.
I'm thankful my door won in the Valentine's Day door contest. My prize was a picture frame as seen in the collage above. Can you guess which one is my door? Some of you have seen my door in other posts. It's the well-decorated one. I had a lot of fun decorating it. I took pictures of other doors in my wing.
I'm also thankful for getting paid today. Thank you myLot.
I'm thankful for the meal I made today. I had in my mind how it would turn out. It was perfect. No, I don't have a picture this time. My camera battery was charging while I was eating it. I made sliced potatoes, 2, one onion, diced, ground turkey crumbled, 2 servings, and shredded Mexican-style cheese. I think it has four different kinds of cheese in it. A handful. I'll take a picture next time as I'll be making this again.
Okay, that's my day. I'm going to finish the notifications and then watch TV. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image is mine, taken today.

Thank you. It was a fun contest. I hope they have another one for St. Patrick's Day. I'll have fun with that one, especially as I'm part Irish.

Not yet. St. Patty's Day is next. I'll decorate it for that one and hope they do another contest. I'll need to look for decorations for Easter too.

You really seemed to have done over activity!
Really tasty sounding meal!
I am grateful to the God for an exam I passed recently and which is likely to help in my some short term goals.
Plus for other bounties.
We have warmer days here - Day temperatures going to nearly 25 C!

I am thankful the weather turned to be better then predicted. No long sleaves for me. Even my husband was rolling up his sleaves.

Thank you. Yes, it was. I'm over the moon happy. Now, if my son were to wish me a Happy Valentine's Day, that would put me further into outer space. 
I know it's not going to happen. I know he's going out with his girlfriend, but not today. Unless they changed their plans since I saw him on Friday.

Nope, I won't say you overdid it but, tomorrow you will be telling me!
Your dinner sounds almost like mine, except I used ground turkey/beef and spooned it through brown rice:) The cheese made it very tasty! We watched Red/Green on tv last night, what a show!

Yes, I overdid it. I got my workout in the fitness center this morning, but I wasn't as gung-ho with it like yesterday. Though I still had a good workout. I'm still thinking about the video workout I have from Silver Sneakers. I'll let you know in the thankful post if I pull that one off today.
How do you spoon it through brown rice? I'm glad it was tasty.

@just4him I warmed up a serving of brown rice from yesterday. Then, I spooned the meat mixture over top(no potatoes) and stirred it in. The meat and cheese made it taste awesome! Did I follow instructions? Nope, it was my own dish.
