You may remember I had some crawl space work done late last month.
And then the IRS wanted some money.
I’m poor.
But don’t pity me, pity yourselves because you’re about to be attacked with a countdown of songs with “poor” in the title!
I’m really not poor. As that song Eddy Arnold did says, “When I count my blessings I’m the richest person I know.” The work came with a generous 18 months same-as-cash (no interest) offer, so that’s a big plus. Additionally, I’ll get my so-so security starting in the summer.
No, the notion of being “poor” is a joke. But the countdown is real.

Sorry, you owe taxes. Mike did ours today and we are getting back which is shocking. He ran it through 3 separate places and they all came to the same conclusion. It's not a huge amount but anything back is better than owing which is what we normally have to do because I am self-employed.

@FourWalls Every penny does indeed help. However, an hour spent on my official job usually nets me far more pennies than an hour on myLot does! (but it's not nearly as enjoyable).
