I like these stories where a police officer and an ambulance driver teamed up to assist a couple travel to a local hospital in Columbia Missouri during a snowstorm on Thursday morning.
The story began when Boonville Police Officer Clinton Barger was driving a couple inside of his squad car to a local hospital in Columbia when he called the local fire station to ask for an ambulance to meet him there so the couple who were expecting a child would have the chance to get to the hospital by ambulance instead of a squad car.
The ambulance was driven by Boone County Fire Protection District firefighter/EMT Ben Juengling who was going to take Interstate 70 to get to the hospital.
Ben had to drive the ambulance slowly due to the snowstorm on the interstate when the baby was born halfway to the hospital inside of the ambulance in the back with the assistance of MU Health Care Paramedics Jessica Talbert and Joe Piskulic who assisted the mom named Elizabeth bring into the world a baby girl named Nova.
The best part of this story is that the mom and child are in good health when they arrived at the hospital later that day.
Teamwork in our world is the key to success in our lives during the good as well as the bad times in our lives.

It was a scary moment aboard the ambulance where the baby was born.

I'm glad the mom was in the ambulance with paramedics when she gave birth.
