Funny Memory About Rabbit Food

Eating light and early for dinner today. A fresh salad will be enjoyed soon. Lettuce, grape tomatoes, cheese, sunflower seeds, croutons, pecans, and ranch dressing. A funny story I always remember when I have a salad. My Dad was a funny man. Always making jokes. He would call a salad... rabbit food. He thought you needed more than just a salad to eat. He enjoyed his steak and baked potatoes. Just makes me laugh to think of him. Good memories for sure. I think Dustin got his sense of humor from my Dad. He was a comedian too. Has been a light rain most of the day. More coming later tonight as well. Enjoy your evening everyone. Photo is my salad.

@CarolDM My Dad was a joker also, and like Dustin, our son takes after him in so many ways. But then, they were very close from when our son was born, so its not a surprise.

Your salad looks so inviting, I know you enjoyed it:) My father had a wonderful sense of humor, which often made my extremely sober mother laugh! They were a mixture of peanut better/jelly, one enhanced the other:)
