Good morning everyone. I have been an early bird this morning. I woke up at 5:15 am --SHOCK! I tried to go back to sleep and that didn't work, so I got up. I made a cup of coffee and started on notifications and reading some of your posts here. My hubby got up about 45 minutes later so I made us some toast to go with the coffee. We have thunderstorms moving in today so I'm heading outside now to do all of the chicken chores. At least I won't have to worry about wading out there later and getting wet. @CarolDM It has been showers so far this week. Today is supposed to bring some thunderstorms. It's very cloudy but the sun tried to peek out earlier. It is about all covered up now with the clouds.

@RebeccasFarm Hubby was working on it while I did a shift at the boutique but he has started working on his boat now to get it running again. I need to get to prodding again.

I woke up about 90 minutes after I went to sleep and made the mistake of looking at my iPad. I saw the news about Russia and stayed up for a couple of hours. Now I’m going to the gym then going home and catch up on my sleep.

Such sad news. We stayed up watching the news on it last night. I had it on earlier this morning but fixing to turn the TV off and head outside for a little while.

@FourWalls I agree with you. This dude is not even up to par to be put in the batch of seconds when it comes to crayons. He egged Putin on by sending reinforcements over BEFORE Putin did anything.

@kareng — I’m not watching anymore. This isn’t new. When Biden was first in the White House as VP this started with Crimea. We didn’t do anything then, and I hope we don’t make a mistake by trying anything now. I truly believe Putin would just as soon nuke us as look at us.

We've been sleeping in a bit longer than usual lately - even till 7am. I like to get up early before it gets too hot, not that it makes much difference as we had very efficient A/C.

Heading outside now for another round of clean air and nature. The sun is trying to peek out for a bit. It looks like our rain will be waiting until mid afternoon or later. That is fine with me!
