The Day is Done and so am I!

Today was not a particularly relaxing day. I spent the morning cuddling with babies in the nursery at church. From there I went straight to work the box office for a performance at our community theatre. Once the till and tickets were balanced I scurried home to participate in a Christmas book exchange that has been postponed multiple times since December. From there it was back to church for evening worship.
Like I said, not a particularly relaxing day. But a good day nonetheless!

Wow, you've had a very productive day! We only have services twice a month, so this morning we watched Brian Biggers on TV from Lamb's Chapel in Haw River, NC.

@SophiaMorros Our church is so small and we don't have a pastor. My husband and three others rotate preaching.

We're back up to 4 services a week at our main campus (the 4th is on Thursday evening). With 2 Sunday mornings at each of our 3 satellite campuses. We also have the option to do the service online...but somehow that just isn't the same as in-person. We've only recently shifted to serving both morning services and attending in the evening. Those morning services were starting to get a little too crowded for my comfort level.

You were really on the go all day long that is for sure.
We were up and out the door really early to go to our son's place.
We looked after the girls until about 1pm as our son and his wife got ready for their family pictures to be taken.
They fussed over the girls the last few minutes changing them into exactly what she wanted them to be wearing for the photos.

@SophiaMorros They have an open stairway, and our daughter-in-law wanted the photographer to go up there and take some pictures looking down at her and our son holding the babies. That would be an interesting shot.

It was a little too busy. I like to have some downtime between major social interactions. My introverted self was a little overwhelmed by the end of the day!

That kind of busyness is not relaxing for me. I am not a people person so that much social interaction is very draining.
