Junk foods as it say are not good for us. They contain little or no nutrients and considered empty calories. However, I can’t resist eating them once in a while and I think will not harm me.
What I have for snack this afternoon is a pack of prawn crackers (not spicy) and I use a thousand islands dressing as dip to enhance the taste.
I was not able to finish the content of the whole pack but I think ¾ of it is more than enough for one serving.

I don't think anyone can resist all the junk foods out there. They may not eat them often but once in a while is fine, in my opinion.
I like several things that aren't "good" for me but I only eat a little now and save the rest for another day. My daughter gets mad when she finds partial bags of stuff, even though I've closed them and put a clip on them so they don't get stale.

You're right junk food is not good for you. I shouldn't eat chocolate. I must stop eating chocolate....

@ZedSmart Yes. I'm trying to cut down. And my Mum always puts temptation in my way by buying sweets. I remember the days when she used to tell me "Sweets will rot your teeth." Now the boots on the other foot!

@sharonelton that's right, they used to telling us when we were kids but usually, it's the most common treats we get.

What is important that you enjoyed it. I used to love to snack when I did not care about my weight. I gave it up along with other things as well and now in between I just drink something. I used to love potato chips with a dip. I do not miss them now.

@ZedSmart I agree. Once in a while isn't that bad.

I feel guilty over eating them. I want to have them every day. It's a good idea to use a dip. I just usually eat it without a dip

@ZedSmart there isnt much in a normal bag of crisps/potato chips or whatever , so you end up buying a family size and eating the lot. Some bags only have a bout 10 in them which is no use to anyone. They also made chocolate bars smaller- they pretend its for peoples health but it means people buy and eat more bars....so more profits for them

We all know that we should not eat them as they are not good. But there is no harm in pampering our taste buds once in a while.
Yes, regulation and moderation would be the key

I think over eating on healthy food would also be bad for you ;-) A balance of good and bad is ok , its only a problem when you have mostly bad

When I consume junk food I see to it that I drink a lot of water afterwards , healthy kidneys and water has the ability to flush out bad elements in food ( or drinks) we consume provided it's not done often, nature designed it that way.
