Hello friends!
Today, I tried fixing my computer. After several attempts of applying adhesive to the broken part of the connector socket of the heat sink, finally it’s able to hold the lever without falling. I thought it was the heat sink improperly positioned to the CPU socket the causes all of the beeping sounds. Before it was fixed, I heard 3 beeps upon turning on the CPU. After that, there were 2 beeps. I did a little research and it helped me to solve my problem. Thanks goodness to youtube tutorial as I was able to find the possible solution. It is said that one possible cause is a faulty RAM. I removed the RAM from its slot and attached it again but the beeps did not go away and the monitor is still black. I tried to transfer the RAM to other slot and make it sure that it is correctly and firmly attached. When I turn on the CPU, the beep sounds gone and the monitor came back to life. Thankfully, I save money for a possible mother board replacement. Had I brought it to the technician, for that problem perhaps I will be charge 500-1000 pesos. Or maybe, a technician would suggest that only a mother board replacement would resolve the problem.
