Easy Choice

I made three appointments. One for my eye doctor. (The presurgery one)One for my bone density test. (I've needed to get this for quite some time because I take a certain medication.)And, last but not least, a breast exam. My daughter and I do ours together. Since she goes with me as my caregiver it only made sense to have her get hers at the same time.
After getting these set I then had to get myself some transportation. I have a credit card now through my insurance and can use any transportation I wish. I installed the app for Lyft onto my phone. Went through all the legal stuff that I had to agree to and come to an agreement and click on it. ERROR! Ok, what now?! Couldn't get any further. Weird. Was beginning to see some issues with transportation.
I had called my favorite taxi company a few months ago and they went out of business. But, I googled to see if there were any others still out there besides ones like Lyft. Yes, three in my area. I checked each one out, reviews and etc. Decided on #1,#2, and #3 in order of best reviews, amount of reviews, etc. Called #1 and it was a man with an Indian accent. Busines-like but answered my questions, was polite, and made sense. #2--It rang three times and went to voice mail. #3 the guy answered and sounded like he had been asleep. I went forward asking him some questions and he heed and hawed and finally asked if he could call me back. Can you believe it?!
Guess you know which I chose.

These people that run their own companies always amaze me at how bad they are on the phone. I hope #1 works out for you.

At least you have some choices. There isn't a taxi service in our city.
I'm glad you found someone who can take you.

@celticeagle Or talk a friend into taking me when they have time or call one of my family and beg them for a ride. I've done both those things when my car is being repaired.

@celticeagle That's not a lot, hopefully you don't need to travel that much.
