@oahuwriter I'm not sure if I've actually had gau gee - I guess it's Hawaiian style Chinese? Interesting about won ton min - I read that being Hawaiian comfort food too . . . I've never had won ton and noodles in a soup together.

Gay gee is different shape & different filling from won ton. Traditionally, won ton is folded in a triangle then the 3 corners are solidified together. Won ton filling has shrimp & pork and a bit spicy. Gau gee is folded into a rectangle is filled with only pork. Both deep fried or steamed. Won ton min, us saimin with garnish of won ton. Restaurant won ton min, always tastes so good.
