Ever Feel As If You Are Entering The Twilight Zone?

Do you ever have things happen that make little or no sense? Do you ever feel as if others around you, that you have daily contact with, are beating to a different drum? Do you ever feel like people that are close to you left reality behind at some point? Do you ever feel like communicating and getting things across to some people is next to impossible? Or, that they just don't care and aren't paying much, if any, attention. My daughter has been doing cleaning around our apartment getting ready for a housing inspection. I have been doing the scheduling of said cleaning and making sure things get done on a to-do list sort of situation. This is a role I have taken on over the last few years because I am now walking with a cane and cannot withstand much physical activity. I asked her a few weeks ago about a piece of furniture we have had in our dining room for years. What condition was it in? Did it need cleaned or wiped down? We discussed it in some depth. She told me that she had gotten rid of this piece of furniture back in 2014 when we did a complete purge of the apartment due to a bug infiltration because of some immigrant's practices while living next door to us. I felt a little relieved because this was one less thing I had to put on a list of reminders for my daughter to clean, tidy, wipe down, etc. So, we moved on. Yesterday evening my daughter sent me a picture of my favorite cat downstairs sleeping in a chair in the dining room. In the background of this picture was the piece of furniture I had asked my daughter about previously. What are your thoughts on this?

It's possible that she misunderstood which you were talking about, or just lied to you about it for whatever reason.

I think she may have been thinking about a different piece of furniture. I would ask her about it.

Are you sure it's the same piece? Maybe she thought you were talking about something else,

@celticeagle - This is weird, if there are no other piece of furniture, she had to know what you were talking about.

If there was another piece of furniture. But, in the dining room, there is only the table, some chairs and the microwave table.
