Our twins are wearing their stud earrings for the first time today. Their mom and aunt brought them to a private pediatrician clinic in the city proper. I am bit asking some stories what had happened during the course of putting them the ruby stud earrings. I was surprised that having them at the age of 7 months is a bit late. According to the doctor, the ideal age for a baby to have it is 3-month-old. At your place, how old do babies have their stud earrings? Image Credit: media.kohlsimg.com

@Faster16 Whoah! It is too young to have the stud earrings there. It is nice to know, right? @kixsh101

Pretty got her ears pierced at 1 year old. Some people do that earlier and some don't let their daughters get their ears pierced until they're in their teens. It's up to the parents. (Although some girls get their ears pierced without asking their parents, too.)

I am guilty of that, when I was in junior high I had my ear pierced, and it is without the permission of my parents.

The parents here decide when. I was in my teens before getting mine done

I don't have any idea. I know some nationalities put the studs in at a very early age.

@Shavkat I don't have pierced ears. In my day, it was mostly immigrants who had their ears pierced. I had them pierced once when I was about 30 but they grew over and I didn't get them done again.

My mom said that I had my stud earrings when I was one. And when I was four years old, they removed it. After that, I never wore an earring again. I am 22 now. Hahaha, just sharing.

I also noticed that some women did not use theirs when they grow older.

Oh, I am amazed to know that it should be three(3) months. I think I had mine when I was four or five years old.

I was also surprised about it. The doctor claimed that it is ideal for 3 months. The reason is that they will not keep on holding or touching their ears with stud earrings.
