American businesses are fleeing Russia

at least the companies are shutting down/suspending business for the time being. Last time I checked they included McDonalds, Starbucks, ATT, Mastercard, Visa, Estee Lauder, Coca Cola, and Pepsi. I'm sure I'm forgetting others. I know that some gas stations said that they wouldn't buy Russian oil in the future. Sunoco recently apologized for their recent purchase of discounted Russian oil. There are others who have said that they were straight up stopping. I don't remember which ones though. I don't know how much longer Russia can keep going like this. The ruble is now worth less than a US penny. Tons of sanctions and companies bailing. Other countries are sanctioning it and refusing to buy oil too. Putin thought that this would be an invasion that would take 2 or 3 days. They are on day 13 and it still hasn't captured Kyiv which was the main goal. I fear that NATO will eventually have to get involved to protect its members next to Russia. That will lead to WW3.

I don't even think about it now. I have to focus on my own goals because if I do go this way I will not be able to function, What will be will be and hopefully the Lord will watch over us all,

@RasmaSandra God has promised that he will always watch over and protect his children:) We must learn to trust him more, our Heavenly Father will do what he has said.

Hopefully he is found and captured. That would be a good thing.

I don't see WWIII imminent, but it is continuing to prove to be an 'escalating' situation for sure. I applaud these companies for making the decision to cut ties with Russia.

I just hope the war won't spread to another country or not even started. Otherwise..... well it's scary.

Russia has put a rope around their own neck. His own nation will suffer, for one man's wickedness.

We're now experiencing the effects with the price of gas soaring and hit the highest increase in almost 20 years.

@NJChicaa we depend in imported fuels if the price of fuels in the world market goes up so does the price here. With the ban on importing oil from Russia supplies are cut off, therefore price soars.

@florelway Not at all. They only have been supplying 8% of US oil.

I'm not with the whole globohomo movement anyways, but Putin makes it extremely difficult to be on his side. He's been doing literally everything wrong and counterproductive since day 1. WW3 IMO is out of the picture, I believe Putin is too complicit to have any type of support whatsoever. NATO will cause this to become even more ugly.
