Hey, Mr. Yema!

My younger brother gave me a piece of candy and it is called 'Mr. Yema.' In fact, it is my first time seeing this candy. A new one I should say. I ran out of coffee candies so I asked him to share this piece of candy. 'Yema' is a Spanish word that means 'egg yolk.' Traditionally, it formed due to battered egg yolks, peeled lime, and sugar. All I know that it is originated in Bulacan, Philippines. Are you fond of nibbling sweet candies? Any favorites of candies out there? Photo is Mine.

I used to have a sweet tooth when I was younger but these days I am trying to cut down on sugar and sweets because I know they are not good for you or your treeth.

I agree. It does not only cause tooth decay but also can acquire diabetes mellitus.

@sharonelton I agree. Once a person acquired this disease, it will be forever in his or her life.

@LadyDuck I also wanted dark chocolates. Since I do not drink coffee now, I replaced it with coffee candies.

@cacay1 It is available in different *force" of darkness, from 45% cocoa up to 90% cocoa. That one is very dark and a little bitter.

@LadyDuck Dark chocolate is something. I love it but seldom find it here in malls.

Pretty and I both like candies. I've got a bag of Snickers bars in my bedroom. I like them because Pretty won't eat them. (She doesn't like peanuts in candy so leaves these alone. )

I love Snickers with nuts or almonds. I wish I could stock some here, but they are so pricey.

@Shavkat Really? I didn't think they were too expensive. I got six regular size candy bars for $6. (I also get the Zero candy bars sometimes, too. Pretty won't take those, either.)

I hate to eat candies. My tonsillitis aches and bulges. I can't swallow food and gets high fever.

I agree If we eat too many sweets, our tonsils will be inflamed. I only take two or three coffee candies for a day.
